Saint Leo University adds new bachelor’s degrees at their SC Campus
Starting today, Saint Leo University will begin offering two different Bachelors degrees for students at their Sumter, South Carolina campus location. The Bachelors degree in Human Services Administration and the Bachelors degree in Health Care Management programs will be offered on nights and weekends, making it convenient for many working adults to earn their degrees in their time.
The 122 credit Bachelors in Human Services Administration focuses on problems of society and the individual, and emphasizes the need for strong leaders in careers that specialize in assisting others. This major also includes to specializations: Administration and Social Services. For students who want to gear their career towards a managerial role will want to specialize in the Administration program. For those who want to really get their hands dirty and be involved in field using critical thinking and problem solving skills will want to focus their attention on the Social Services specialization.
The Bachelors degree in Health Care Management is also 122 credits, and is ideal for those seeking a managerial role in a hospital or health care facility. Students who are enrolled in the Healthcare Management that are not employed in the industry are required to take HCA 425 Healthcare Internship in their senior year. Students spend the entire semester at an internship site and may earn 3-15 credit hours for the experience, depending on their work schedule.
