South University announces NEW Accelerated MBA Program
In the Fall of 2009, South University began offering an Accelerated MBA program (AMBA) that allows students to earn their MBA in as little as 12-months, one course at a time. This rolling AMBA program can begin any month of the year except for December, so students can enroll at virtually any time. This allows students to earn their MBA faster so they can get on with their career aspirations.
The idea of this AMBA came to be since many working adults cannot afford to take time out of their days or evenings during the week to attend class, with commitments including work and family. This blended AMBA program is completed both online and on-campus, where students converge every other Saturday at either South University’s Savannah campus, or at the Art Institute of Atlanta.
The Accelerated MBA Program covers numerous courses of study including:

- Firm and Market Development
- Managerial Finance
- Legal Environment of Business
- Leadership Ethics
- Financial Accounting and Reporting
- Strategic HR Management
- Business Analysis

- Introduction to Sustainability for Business
- Strategic Development and Implementation
Tuition information is available on South University’s website for this new program, and note that all textbooks are included in the tuition cost, so no additional fees are required of the student in that respect.
The AMBA program at South University combines the best of both worlds – the ability to participate in a traditional classroom setting where students can ask questions in person, engage in classroom discussions, and also the ability to learn when you want, where you want through the online program.
